Today is the International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer. The ozone layer is a layer in the stratosphere at an altitude of between 15 and 35 km, which has a relatively high concentration of ozone (O3). In 1994, the 16th of September was proclaimed the International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer. Bosnia and Herzegovina is a member of these international environmental treaties.
